Dear Sir:

I am interested in your article in June 87,
Am. Agri. on the Country School & the [Farmer's?]
[Boy?] and quite agree that boys are not induced
to look at farm things, work and
pleasures in the right light. I have for long
wished there were less mathematics and science
of language in our schools and more of the
point of practical and after life.

But I am a little surprised that you
did not answer your own queries, for
the present, by advising boys to join the
