My Dear Prof Bessey

Referring to your favor 1/28.
I cannot now see how it will be
possible for me to go to Lincoln again
next week. And yet, will if
it actually [be?] [?] I showed. I
have been from home so much the
past month, that all my work in
the office is behind. My family is
sick — wife and mother, and I
am simply [?] [?]. I will
freely endorse any thing you will do. i
am quite sure I coud add nothing
to your good judgement in
the matter. So go on, and do what
you think best.

How soon can I have your
paper read before our Board at
last meeting. I wait to publish
it in Feb'y issue "[?] Resources"
again. Cant you say
