March 1st, 1886

My dear Prof. Bessey

I have been confined
to my bed for two weeks with an attack of [?],
and it will probably be two weeks more before I can
get to the University where I shall see your [review?].
When I do, I shall read it with interest. I infer
we must have measured friend Coulter correctly, as
there was no collusion between us.
