I hunted and hunted for more
but could not find any. Also
there were no more diseased
grasshoppers found at
Shelburne last year although
they were abundant the year
before. In my single
Cambridge specimen the
resting spores were hardly
distinguishable from those
of Ent. [Calopteni?] although
they were not quite ripe.
The question is whether my
specimen is really E. Grylli.
Certainly as far as the [conidia?]
are concerned I should say
that they were those of E. Grylli.
Resting spores have been found
in that species but no figures
or satisfactory descriptions
have been given except in a
work not to be found in this
