Dear Professor Bessey,
Your letter reached me
yesterday. I will be on the lookout for
anything that belongs to you. I have as yet
not found the box you miss.
I will get the fireplace fixtures of
Mr. Wright. Miss [Arthur?] and Prof Stanton both
said that the registers were at Mr Wright's
but I fail to find them and have ordered new
ones. The screens we shall probably
need later in the season. Professor Stanton
says there is a pile of wood which you
wish to sell. This I will take. It is
now about [?] covered with snow.
I think Professor Stanton told me your
price is $39. I wish you to trust me
for a few weeks as my [?] [??]
[?] and the incomes.
I am quite anxious to know how
