ship. To do this, I have not time
nor means at my command
to [hire?]. Some competent person
should be here on the ground
at close of Exp[osition?], and for
weeks preceeding, to [select?] and
[pack?]. While Prof Bessey was here,
we looked over the ground to considerable
extent, and, in addition
to what I had before done, made
valuable selections.

Some valuable thins will
be to purchase. But will not be expensive.
