My Dear Sir:

The specimens
of Pnecimia you send are
clearly the same as
Pnecimia Lobeliae Gerard
[?] and Farlow [ought?] to have
done better with this. Even if
they did not wish to recognize
Gerard's name I do not see
why, unless by mistake, they
should change "microspoorae"
to "microspora" Gerard's
name has priority by 8 months.
